Prior to joining Dr. Voisine, Gayle practiced in Cape Elizabeth, Maine Medical Partners Geriatrics, St Joseph’s College Student Health, UNE Student Health, and Addiction Medicine at Mercy Recovery Center. She also had a 26-year affiliation with the US Naval Reserve Nurse Corps and is now retired as Captain.
Gayle received an MS in Adult Primary Care Nursing from Simmons College of Boston, and a BS in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine (Magna cum Laude).
Gayle is nationally certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center (ANCC). The ANCC is a nursing credentialing and certifying organization responsible for maintaining a national standard for Nurse Practitioners.
“Over my career, I have been fortunate to have cared for many individuals ranging in age from 12 to 108, and experiencing many stages of life and development,” She explains. “I believe in a holistic, collaborative, and preventative approach. I respect the choices and beliefs of each patient, and help them make informed decisions regarding their health and wellbeing. I am very excited to be part of such an extraordinary practice. ”
